berry trifle w/ lemon cake

to make one cup…

Ingredients

1/4 of the lemon pound cake

1/4 cup of whipping cream

1/2t Truvia

1/8t orange flavor (you can skip this)

berries (i have used 2 medium sized strawberries, 10 blueberries, 1 blackberry)

Directions

cut the lemon pound cake into small cubes

cut the strawberries into small cubes ( i left a few slices to decorate the top)

put whipping cream, Truvia, and orange flavor in a mixing bowl and whip until soft peaks form.

Now you are ready to assemble.

place 8 blackberries at the bottom of a glass cup.  put half of the pound cakes on top.  spread half of the whipped cream.

place the strawberry cubes, then rest of the pound cake.  Top it with remaining whipped cream.

Decorate with rest of the berries.

Keep it in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
